Given below is information you will find helpful in deciding whether you would like to join the “Manna House Breakfast Club.” They are the instructions we send out to Club Members in advance of their day of service at Manna House.
For each meal we invite you to send up to six volunteers to serve the food. If sending volunteers is not possible, please let us know. We can always find the volunteers. Youth are welcome when accompanied by a chaperone. In addition to the volunteers, at least two Manna House staff will be present at each meal.
Breakfast starts at 8:00 am. If you are sending volunteers, please plan to arrive no later than 7:45 am. This will ensure we have time to set up for the breakfast. Breakfast will have been prepared at Manna House.
Breakfast ends by 10:15 am and if you have the time, we would love the opportunity to talk to your group about their experience with us as well as share our perspective about homelessness and poverty, and how your help has lightened the burden of those in need.
